Presently…

  • Established an art centre for Rasaja Foundation near Suraj Kund, Faridabad on the outskirts of New Delhi.
  • Conducted various programs like workshops of paintings with practicing artists, Workshops with SOS children for painting and theatre. Workshop of sculpture etc.
  • Establishing a centre with classes in glass, enameling, a small auditorium and an Art Gallery at Green Park Extn. New Delhi.

2009   

  • Conducted workshop at Srinagar, Kashmir in stained glass firing for the Papier Machie crafts person painters.
  • Conducting Classes at Triveni Kala Sangam, Vastu Kala School of architecture.

 

2008

  • Made and installed a Bust of Jawahar Lal Nehru (1st Indian P.M) at the Indian Parliament.
  • Advisor to Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (Min. of Science & Technology) to develop an arts & crafts glass centre at Kolkata.
  • Visiting Faculty at NIFT and PEARL academy of design.

 

2007

  • Advisor to Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (Min. of Science & Technology) to develop an arts & crafts glass centre at Kolkata.
  • Visiting Faculty at NIFT and PEARL academy of design.
  • Also working on feasibilities of starting art glass and ceramic centres in Goa, Mumbai, Pune and in other regions. As the founder member and Secretary of the ARTS-GLACERHI (Art Society for Glass, Ceramic & Handicrafts of India) promote the arts through Glass and Ceramic and create a wider awareness.      

2006

  • Conducted Hot Art Glass workshop for MFA students from 14 universities across India at the College of Arts Delhi.
  • Conducted Hot Art Glass workshop for the NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Delhi. Lectures and slide shows.
  • Conducted Hot Art Glass workshop for the Pearl Academy of Design, Delhi.
  • Conducting regular classes in Stained glass at Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi.
  • Organising regular exhibitions at the Artists Gallery, Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi.
  • Large Glass Mural in relief at the Unitech Cybercity, Gurgaon.

 

2005

  • Organised workshop in Terracotta and designed for it with over 30 participants.
  • Organised workshop in Blown Glass arts and crafts with three Swedish glass artists and 35 participants at Firozabad.
  • Organised workshop in Graal technique in Blown Glass arts and crafts with three Swedish glass artists and 40 participants at Firozabad.
  • Organised workshop in Ceramic arts and crafts and designed for it with 30 participants.
  • Organised workshop in Slumped Glass arts and crafts with a Hungarian Glass artist and a glass artist from Finland with 30 participants.

 

2004               

  • Worked, visited and had collaboration discussions with centres in Sweden and Italy Aug-Sept 004.
  • Member of the committee and art coordinator for the formation of the ‘One world education’ centre at Delhi.
  • Slide show and lecture at Ahmedabad & Baroda.
  • Visiting Professor to the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.
  • Organised workshop, Lectures, slide shows, exhibition and study tour with Hungarian and Indian artists and students of art and architecture.
  • Organised workshop, exhibition and study tour with four Swedish and four Indian glass and Ceramic artists. Also their side shows and lectures.

2003

  • Promoted an exclusive Nook Artist Gallery for Glass and ceramic sculpture, murals and studio pottery at Triveni Kala Sangam.
  • Adviser for starting the Glass and ceramic Dept. at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
  • Participated in a group show of senior Indian artists at the Aryan Gallery, Delhi.
  • Slide show and lecture on the international glass movement.
  • Organised and participated in workshop of artists from different states in India and an exhibition of the works at Gole Market, New Delhi.
  • Organised and participated in the Exhibition “Homage to B.C.Sanyal” New Delhi. Lectures : Tokyo Art Glass Institute, Tokyo.

                            Lecture and discussions with 90 crafts persons and artists at workshop sponsored by the KVIC at Suraj Kund area Faridabad also gave them exposure to efficient kiln design and ceramic firing.
